during lockdown

As we are unable to gather for worship at the moment we are live streaming our services via youtube.  You can join us at 10am each Sunday by clicking here.  All services are recorded and can be watched at a later time. For previous services click here.

On a daily basis we are also gathering for Night Prayer at 7:30pm via Facebook live.  To participate in this you need to join the Cedar Centre Family 2020 Facebook group.  Click here to join.

Our children’s and youth programs are being run remotely with resources for parents being sent out weekly and youth gatherings happening on Zoom.

Email phlatohi@gmail.com for information regarding the childrens program or beckinsamoa@hotmail.com for details of the youth program (The Haven).

Find "The Haven" on Facebook here or on Instagram here

Our parenting program for first time parents is called SPACE and currently meetings are held via zoom.

For more information on SPACE click here

We also run two weekly playgroups.  At the moment these groups are also gathering via Zoom.  Click here for more info.

We are continuing to provide this program on a Tuesday morning at 9:30am via live stream to youtube.  The sessions are also recorded and can be viewed at a later time.   Click here for the next session or here for previous sessions.

The morning tea time is an important part of the normal mainly music program.  During the lockdown we are gathering at 10am on Tuesday morning for a catchup via Zoom.

Email craig@cedarcentre.org.nz if you would like to be included in that gathering.

Our seniors group is being supported by phone calls and, where appropriate, practical assistance during this time.

If there is an isolated older member of the community that you know who is in need of support please email kate@cedarcentre.org.nz or leave a message on the church answerphone – 09 483 6989.

Even though the Cedar Centre is closed our Food bank is still operating. If you need assistance you can call (022) 699 2028. The person who answers will take your details and refer your request to someone who will do a safe non-contact drop off of a food parcel.

Please note that as all our food is donated we can only keep this up as long as stocks last. While we are not able to receive any donations of food at this time if people want to make a donation via online banking to the Cedar Centre bank account we are able to restock via a supermarket run.

Donations can be made to the account number below. Please make clear that it is a donation for the Food bank. Thanks in advance to all who give to enable us to continue to provide this service.
