Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, so we are here to assist you in any way we can.  The beauty of our property is that there are many options available from small and boutique to large and modern with both indoor and outdoor options.  We are happy to put together a package unique to your requirements or you can choose from one of ours which will be available to view soon.

Our Vicar Daniel Sahayam is happy to meet with you to talk about officiating at the service on your special day; otherwise you are welcome to bring your own Christian Minister or celebrant to take the service (with approval from our leadership team).  

​

There are many beautiful areas around our grounds and close by for wedding photos.  If you have guests who will be travelling a distance to your wedding there are also a number of great places to stay within a few minutes' drive.

Weddings

​Organising a funeral is something that not many of us are too familiar with.  Our Vicar Daniel Sahayam and the Pastoral Care team are very empathetic and are available to be with you, your family and friends during this time to walk with you as you grieve the loss of your loved one.

​

Daniel would be honoured to take the funeral service for you, but is also happy for your own minister to take the service if they fit with the ethos of our church.

​

To make sure your loved one is honoured in a way that is respectful to them and also a time of reflection and celebration of all they meant to you, we will work alongside you and your funeral director to create a service unique and special to all whoknew them.

​

The church auditorium is able to seat up to 250 people and has a beautiful glass window behind the altar which looks out into a large tree that is home to many birds.  There is a very good sound system and overhead projectors which are able to be used on request.

​

The foyer is available following the service for light refreshments.  We have a caterer who is able to organize this for you, otherwise you are welcome to take care of this yourself.

Do you have a birthday or occasion but don't have the space to celebrate it?  Cedar Centre has various different spaces for hire. 
 
"The Chelsea rooms" are a great solution for children's birthday parties. They are fully equipped with bathrooms and a small kitchen.  Our flat park-like grounds are the perfect spot for bouncy castles and party games. 
​
Wanting something a bit more sophisticated?  The foyer offers a modern, open, neutral space that can accommodate up to 100 guests at tables.  Attached is commercial grade kitchen and servery perfect for your catering needs.

Chelsea Chapel

Nestled amongst 2.7 acres of land, under a large Cedar tree, sits a beautiful historic chapel which originally stood proudly at the Chelsea Sugar Works.  The Chapel is perfect for anyone looking for a small intimate space that still sings of romance that the character and history of this building holds.  The chapel can comfortably seat 40 people and is equipped with a sound system.  Surrounding the Chapel is a beautiful flat park like area - perfect for high tea in the garden after the ceremony.

Park-like grounds

Our park-like grounds are a perfect solution for birthdays, weddings and any event requiring extra break out space.  The area is large and flat - a blank canvas for your imagination.    Perfect for bouncy castles and egg and spoon races.  Style the space with a large marquee or tables with white cloths and umbrellas for the perfect outdoor wedding!  The options are endless!   ​.

Auditorium

Our brand new auditorium is modern yet maintains the the natural beauty of the property by bringing the outside in through the large glass window behind the altar.  Neutral in colour, it allows you a blank canvas to style your event however you choose.  The auditorium seats up to 250 guests and comes with a state of the art sound system and overhead projectors.  The layout can be easily changed to suit your requirements.

THE FOYER

The Cedar Centre foyer is a wonderful space for events.  The neutral colour scheme allows you to style it your way.  Attached to the foyer is a commercial grade kitchen with a servery.  The foyer can comfortably seat 100 guests at tables.  An alternative to the foyer is the church auditorium or outside on our park- like grounds.

The kitchen

The commercial grade kitchen is available to hire for your event.  It is set up with the basic needs including two freestanding ovens with hobs and a commercial grade sterilizer.  Bring in your own caterer on request and approval.

The chelsea rooms

Do you have a birthday or occasion but don't have the space to celebrate it?

Cedar Centre has 2 school prefabs "The Chelsea rooms" which we are able to hire out for occasions such as these!  Chelsea room 1 comes equipped with a small kitchen including a fridge, microwave, zip and sink.  It also has 2 large toilet areas with a changing table in one.  The floor is easy to clean lino which is perfect for kids birthdays.  The room is child friendly and spills out onto a covered deck which is completely enclosed for children.  If you have a big event and require more space Chelsea Room 2 (right next door) may also be available on request.  This is a carpeted area slightly bigger than Chelsea Room 1 but cannot be hired separately as it does not have kitchen or toilet facilities.  Both areas have seating and tables.
